I suppose you could say that I am a Tory.

That could be true to some degree.

When working in Hebburn Palmers I was sick of the men being called out on strike for no good reason that I could see.

In most cases the strikes just lost the men money.

So I got out of there and never had anything to do with unions after that.

Both my father and grandfather were shop stewards at sometime in their working life. One in Leslie’s and the other in Reyrolle’s. So to some extent I know about Union life.

Needless to say they both gave up being shop stewards because the rabble rousers led the men astray.

There are a lot of good Labour people about but the chumps tend to mess things up. There are some classic examples of that.

Every person is a capitalist it just depends how much.

I look out for me and mine then friends etc. Plus those in trouble if I can.

A person with a lot of money which is looked down on in certain quarters. Their money is invested in companies, stocks and shares etc. That money then goes to finance say, companies to expand.

Money in the. End is of no use unless it’s working. No point in burying it in the garden as it will loose it’s value.

If I came into a lot of money I would try to put it to a good use and more than likely set up a company doing XYZ.

But I’m too old now so I would set up a trust for my family to run. My daughter and son in law are very good at running businesses, they have 3 that I know of.

They have just finished a building project to provide low price accommodation for young people wishing to leave home or move to Harrogate. However they have to be budding business or work inclined and wishing to expand their horizons. This is all to benefit Harrogate and surrounding areas. Business creates business and by creating businesses gives employment..

I have no idea as to the political persuasion they are, they are just too busy.

No people on housing benefit allowed in it, they been there and got hurt. One person stripped out the property while his flat ate was away on. Holiday for 2 weeks bit of a shock when he arrive back.

Today I have no idea what any of the political parties stand for. the opposition parties have lot their way. The Scots lot Gawd!
