Saturdays Header in the old Newtown

Today's header shows old Tennant St from Station Rd-Whickham Rd junction. At the far end is Reyrolles Factory. The first junction in Tennant St was Charles St and a shop that was either McHughs or a later shop can just be seen, but which side was it on. I remember John McLeans on this side of that that left corner.
