That really has to change! Not just energy but more home owned manufacturing etc etc.
Of course it was cheaper to produce abroad but the downside is what we are seeing now. Even the Chinese stuff is in short supply because of stretched supply lines and their fascination with lockdowns!
I have no problem with private UK companies doing their stuff. In the UK Nationalisation always seemed to end in Union strangulation. The Norse countries seem to have avoided that.
