Today's header is a Baker Perkins advert encouraging locals to come & work for them.
They were a Peterborough based company and after WW2 they took over the now unused Bedewell Works which was built to produce bombs & other items for the war effort. It was known locally as 'The Bomb Factory'.
Bakers is just one of many Factories that employed thousands of locals & are no longer here.
