Bonnacord St and The Ferry Landing in its earlier position 1950

This is one of the best views I could find showing long gone Bonnacord St. The name Bonnacord meaning 'Good Will' is the Motto for Aberdeen and chosen because lots of Mr Leslie's original workers came from Aberdeen.
Bonnacord st houses were basically attached to the Ellison St houses which saved having to build two walls.
As Davy said further down the board, the Ferry Landing was beside Leslie's Wall originally and not long after this 1950 photo was moved a few yards upstream.
