It is a building that has stayed still while others adapted and moved on, there's been a few attempts to get it to work in various themes but none have worked, for me personally it would make a great live music venue, the capacity I would imagine to be around 300+ unless the layout has been significantly tampered with. Ideal as a blues type venue and would be the right size for a lot of acts touring at present. To give you an example Chris Farlowe played Newcastle Labour Club a couple of months back, their concert room holds about 250. We can only wait and see.
