Todays header photo is specially for our message board regular Elizabeth nee Goodall who was born in Arthur St a number of years before this photo was taken.
In the late 40s the Goodalls moved down to York, where Elizabeth still lives. She's always loved dear old Hebburn and I've always told her my ambition is to get her a photo of her beloved Arthur St where she was born and lived. So far I havent been able to find a good Arthur St photo.

Elizabeth hasn't posted on the board for a while and emailed me last night to tell me she checks the board every day and due to mobility problems and losing her husband a few years ago she is now in a Care Home but misses her home.
