Carol sent me some photos she took in 1970. I've checked my records and think the ship being launched is either the 'Atlantic Conveyor' or the 'Atlantic Causeway'. 'Atlantic Conveyor' was hit by an Exocet missile in the Falklands War and eventually sank days later. I'm sure Peter Cook will tell me which of the two were launched in April 1970
