I will give them a fair chance but will change if I don't like their future prices.

I don't have a smart meter mainly because of some of the horror stories of miscalculation of usage. We have a poor signal for our mobile phones and sometimes no signal at all and am concerned about what would happen to the calculation if the signal was all over the place.

I take a meter reading every Saturday morning and enter it onto a spreadsheet which, with the help of a couple of simple formulae, calculates usage and cost(s).
