I'd never really looked but it turns out that I have a smart meter. That was probably installed in the previous owners time and with a different supplier to the one that made me look!!
My supplier doesnt appear linked to it because I enter all my readings online,manually every three months.
Anyway I dont feel in anyway threatened by it !! In fact I am fairly happy because it is a step towards me getting an EV tariff.
