The photo has got me really puzzled Davy,having spent my early life in the Quay,and by the way in my play ground domain being the pit yard,even the building to the right of the Cally pub is just about where no 10 Tyne st was the house where l was born,now a sandwich take away.l have looked at the photo and can not remember those railway lines going in that direction to wards the Cally pub,nothing about the photo seems familiar,other than the pub and Lyon st and the pit wall.l left the Quay in 1952 was the line built about then or after .
