what did they give you, some companies incorporate the guarantee/warranty in their sales receipt. Double check everything you have got off them so far then ask them to email the warranty to you. Did they quote you £500 before the work? It may be the package cost including labour etc so if you agreed to it they may believe they have fulfilled the contract as per instructions as you hadn't asked for a breakdown of the job beforehand.
