Not our Grandfather, he was George Hardy but could have been a brother to him or some other relation. I never knew my Grandfather, there were two George Hardy’s in Hebburn at that time, one was the station master at Hebburn railway station and the other was a rent collector but Sadly I don’t know which was my grandfather!
