Thankfully our surgery are all working as self employed and itís their surgery. I donít know if anyone remembers, but in 2004, when the Eastern Europeans joined the EU, the Labour government said donít worry we expect 13,00 to arrive, but 500,000 arrived and no surgery could deny them registration. I know as my friend had worked at the same surgery for 20 years, more arrived every week, they arrived and registered, as well as refugees at the same time. I wonder how many people realise how many people are now registered with their doctor.perhaps that is why many were retiring early. Just to tired to continue.
