When nissan took over Sunderland aerodrome, there was a
Douglas Dragon Rapide left damaged and once used by Sunderland parachute club. It was damaged but repaired by the lads in the aircraft museum. The owners of the airfield were George and Lee Bamburgh. The crash report would be interesting Allan.
