When you go to fuel up you put your card into the pump etc. and you are allowed up to £99 worth of fuel.
You should only pay for the amount that you take say £70.
The other day the pump took the £70 and also the £99 as well. Ann spotted it when checking our bank statement on line.
We have got the money back through the bank who told us what had happened at the Supermarket fuel station.
Now this was in France and the limit would have cost us an extra £120 over the £75 fuel that we bought.
The same could happen in the U.K. I suspect.
