Just read that if you have a fan running for one hour it costs you 1p in an article about saving money.
An interesting item in. A paper , an ex navy man said about how they keep cool. Iced water in a bowl and put your fingers or toes in that.
There was more too it than that but that’s the gist of it.
The best thing is not to go out into the sun stay in shade, that can make a 10-20 degree difference.
I found this as I have bought a window mounted thermometer and unshaded it goes up to 50c, if I open the sun shade on the patio table screening the thermometer iit drops by 20c in 30 seconds.
It sounds daft to us here in U.K. but going around with an umbrella as is done if the Far East etc. Could be a good idea.
Not that that will happen though.
We are now staying indoors as far as possible or under sun shades. Wearing a suitable hat “straw” ?

The heat will be very trying for you so take care.
