It has to be to justify the price and the use itís intended for which is MTB racing.
If it avoids a rear mech wipe out all well and good.
In 2018 I had a rear mech wipe out and I was 8 miles from the caravan. I managed to clear the mess and could have got back to the van but at a slow speed part walking part riding but friend came and picked me up..
With all this new technology it gradually feeds down to the cheaper ends of manufacturing range.
Shimanoís low end range is now as good as their top end stuff of 5 years ago.
However I will not buy the. Latest electronic gear shifting which I hear is fantastic for speed of gear change but ££.
