Re: utilities bills
The only company my husband and I have allowed to use the direct debit method is the council and that is to pay the council tax, we know exactly how much each month will come out of our bank account.
Our electricity supplier is E.on they ask us for a meter reading each month which we supplier, they then provide us with a bill which we then pay. We receive a bill on line from BT each quarter, again once received we pay, we used to receive paper bills from BT but when we recently renewed our contract they offered us a discount if we cancelled paper bills and just receive our bills on line.
