But the water crisis is real even in areas where there is no plan for any immediate restrictions. Here is the Midlands we are OK so far. But I live by farmland and know many local farmers. Their fields are parched. They are feeding livestock with next winters stock beacuse of lack of grass.They are not allowed to take more water out of rivers running alongside their land. As a result yields will be down and some crops totally lost.
The problems lie many years ago. We need more reservoirs quickly.......and more "raindancing" !!
I finish up by saying we will survive. You and I and many others did in 1976 but the news people do like worrying everybody!!
