Re: The Conservatives At War Wanting a New Leader
I know I have said it before but it's a poisoned chalice, who in their right mind wants the job, the fiscal decisions have caused mayhem, if the Bank of England hadn't stepped in numerous pension funds would have folded. She and Kwarteng have cost the country billions and billions of pounds by their decisions and u turned as they were told it wouldn't be supported in Parliament. Her actions have pushed up mortgage payments and she won't apologise for the mayhem she has caused. Like you say Liz she shouldn't get comfortable at number 10 by the looks of it, the conference is exposing the split even more, where normally a conference no matter what the party portrays an optimism for the coming year this is looking really bad for the tories, the knives are definitely out and the majority of Tory voters are not happy.
