The weekend header photo shows the Wooden bridge under construction 1946. It was a puzzle for one of our board regulars as she used the bridge many times before 1946. On the aerial view the original bridge had been removed and a new one was about to replace it with sloping paths either side that made easier access when pushing a pram or riding a bike..
