Both her parents from Glamorgan, Wales, they met in Hebburn Rose St. and married in Tynemouth as G G/M worked and lived there in service.
I am attempting to TRY to reduce the amount of paperwork that I have on FH stuff. You end up with duplicates or more copies of documents or info. 8 copies of the same info in one case. Part of that is the info came from various sources. Family Search, Find My Past , Ancestry and FreeBMD plus other sources.
There can be two to four different bits of info on say the birth of a person. Sometimes you get the birth + baptism, either one or the other. Where the events took place can be limited or detailed.
I have had to condense three items into one in some cases.
With this particular family I have split it into two parts, the Wales side and the Hebburn side just to make it easier.
The Hebburn side is my G G/Pts and 10 children out
Of which only 8 reached adulthood and 2 had moved away long before I was born.
The remaining 6 I knew very well as one Visited at their homes or at family gatherings. That part of the family is going to be very very hard and time consuming to do. Probably my worst choice!
On the Welsh side the number of John Morris’s is huge as it is for most Welsh families, names reused time and time again down the line and rarely any middle names to help. The middle name tended to disappear after birth in most cases.
In working on the Welch side I’m rechecking my original info. And finding errors due to like names and later info. Now available. As things come online.
I have lost track of the hours that I have put in on this in the last week or so. Thank goodness it’s raining.
The good thing it’s that my mind is now back working near to what it was 2019. I feel that although we did not get COVID other things tagged onto in and the lockdowns etc. undermined peoples mental and physical health.
