Jackie I love the Hunt but sadly lacking in the pulling together element. My main fault is going off at tangents instead of keeping to the main line.

However having said that some great things turn up.

What I dislike is that some of the family trees that I come across are incorrect and if I tell the tree owner they do not correct it.

Some others have so many names in it that the owner could not have done the research but nicked it from other trees. You just have to look at the numbers 32,000 or more no way.

I agree Findmypast past a bit iffy to use but Ancestry used to be very good until this year.

You used to get very good hints on the side bar, like the person on various Census returns and other bits of info. But now the accuracy is not very good or worse.

They probably modified the software and its now a bit OFF.
