This nice clear aerial view (Thanks to Britain from Above website) shows the Quay area from above the Ballast Hill. The 'A' on the right for Carr St is also where the 'Theatre Royal' was and just 4 yrs before it burned down in 1950. The gap where the German bomb landed in Ann St can clearly be seen, and that gap is still there today so never built on again.
