Davy ; dont know if we are talking about the same Heat Pumps BUT when bought our current house it was totaly heated with in-floor heating using an electric type heater to heat the fluids . Cost aproximately $2,400 every two months during the 7 month heating season . Switched totaly over to three Heat Pumps which I run year round Heating/Cooling bill dropped to aproximately $5, 000 for the year . Down side on a cloudy really cold day or night they havethere work cut out to extract exterior warm air . Supplement with a propane fireplace and sweater or two . Three years on Im satisfied with the transition .
