Thank you Brian. I have the 1951 film, with Alistair Sim. Like Liz, I watch it every year. I agree that you form your own idea with radio. It’s the same with books. I read all the James Herriot books years ago and Siegfried Farnon, the senior vet was tall dark and slim. I could not get used Robert Hardy playing the part.
