Yes I remember that building well Patrick. As a youngster in the 50's we often played around the area.
But I never really knew what use the place was put to and it is a revalation to hear the "users" from your post.
Looking back I never recall much activity (people or vehicles coming or going). I just remember a series of double doors and the three sides of the triangle, firmly shut!
