Murky waters rolling on. Past the shipyards now long gone. Can't forget and time won't heal what the geordie lads now feel. Shipyard buzzers rang out loud, pulling in the mighty crowd. Dawn till dusk sheer sweat and strain every man and every crane. No more ships and little trade. That's through systems man has made.Choked up, saddened this I tell. River Tyne I knew thee well.
