thanks Norman, this of course was many years before we lived there which was..1940/47 still it was the same, one bedroom upstairs at the front & one more at the back. Many people in those days used the under stairs area in the main living room, for sleeping, a bed fitted easily in there. Off the living room was a scullery. Outside tap, gas mantles for lighting downstairs. No electricity of course, and an outside toilet.
