Well done Ray. 20 miles is about my limit at the moment. However that is from home and we are surrounded by hills and you have to go up quite a few to get out or get back.

My favourite is to do the 10 mile climb from Menwith to top of Greenhow.

I would not try it from Pateley Bridge though as that is one hell of a climb but you cannot ride that road as there was a big land slip and it’s very difficult to fix.

I could take bike about 4 miles to the East to say Ripley Castle and it’s more level out East.
