British Volt Battery Factory at Blyth in administration

The giant proposed factory to produce batteries to power cars and bring thousands of jobs is in admin before they even started building work. It looks like an Australia Company have announced they are interested in it.
Recently ex Miners Union man and now a Labour Party MP for Wansbeck Council has been on the TV getting involved.I remembered from years ago how well he did from the Miners Union so I googled his name. Its poorly written but it still shows how well he did (copied and pasted from a newspaper article)
Ian Lavery received a loan of £72,500, which was later written off, from a union fund to purchase a property; with his wife kept £18,000 from an endowment policy taken out on the property; and received a series of termination payments from the union worth nearly £90,000.
He later paid back £15,000, which means he received a total of £165,387, the report from the Certification Office for Trade Unions and Employers Associations says.
