Mike Bonser,Billy Ward,George Gowens,Dave McCormack,Dave Quensall were all in my class during 1950-55 at Clegwell school.
Alfie Jardine was in the army cadets along with the two lads with who are wearing berets with the DLI badges,the one wearing glasses is one of the Mathew brothers that had a electrical bilke shop in Lyon st next to the Gas workers club,further along Lyon st next door to the Commercial pub was the butchers shop l am pretty sure the officer a mr Seymour standing worked there.
ps I think the photo might have been taken may be in 1956 not 1954.?
