A photo taken on a Hebburn and Pelaw cyclists run to Weardale before WW2 started. The only name is May Gray. That generation knew how to stay healthy and used to cycle miles on weekends. Wolsingham is about 30 miles up and down hills so those cyclists must have been fit.
