Rent to buy is available here depending on your income. What really bothers me here is the number of older homes owned by out of province people, unocupied,left to rot away. My house 25 years old,is a unique construction right on the water, the owner lived in it for one year it was either rented out or remained empty and was starting to deterate. Owners should not be allowed to let their property self destruct while others are in dire need for affordable acomodation.
