I just tripped over this 1957 film again this afternoon. Whilst not the finest example of continuity and celluloid story-telling it did chart the arrival of a remarkable talent.
Now 86 and still performing. Still married to the same lady after 62 years.
I remember buying the EP "Young Love" in '57 from a record shop on Fowler St in South Shields, not far from, and on the same side as the Town Hall. But for the life of me the name of the establishment escapes me!
