After the heart attack which started to fade after 10-15 min. I got up and woke Ann. While she contacted my daughter next door I showered and took my morning tablet. I think I may have had a bit of cereal and then off to Harrogate A&E and there by 7.30.
30 min to triaged and then into a small side ward, after all wired up taken up to the heart unit. Tests after tests.
The first important test is bloods where they look for the enzymes that indicate a heart attack ( I think they only remain in the blood system for a short while)
I was taken to the LGI in Leeds for 11am on the Tuesday 14th.and had 3 stents fitted by 1 pm. Your rest for 6 hours then your sent home, I taken home by family.
I get a check phone call today and visit the Hospital at the end of April.
How am I OK. But it’s just as well that I was reasonably fit.
I will write more later so you know what may happen but each of us is different so it’s only my personal thing.
Going out to do minor garden work.
