The collapse of shipbuilding on the Tyne had nothing to do with the Government.

Like all industries the younger kids on the block found ways to do the work cheaper. The width of the Tyne did not allow for launch of bigger ships.

If the shipbuilder had got together and built big building dock say in Jarrow Slack things may not have gone downhill so quick but then the shape of the river etc. may have prevented that.

I think that you have a very odd view of things and there appears to be a lot of bitterness in you.

Why do you keep knocking people? From the amount of jobs that you appear to have had did you not get on with your workmates or bosses!
