The photo I think is a celebration of my great Uncle John's 21st. birthday. My Great Grandad Father is wearing a bowler.
The Tin Chest on the right I remember, it may be down in Cambridge with a cousin or in OZ. I used to play in that as my toys were kept in it at Grandmothers house.
According to the 1911 Census my Great Grandfather was a Rivetter and John a caulker. Both in Leslies.
The chaps with them could well be workmates of John and maybe some of G G/F Riveting squads.
I'm guessing that my Grandfather took the photo.
I wonder if the lady is my great Aunt Maggie, John's sister and her hand is on the shoulder of her boyfriend? She never married so he could have been killed during WW1. That's a pure guess.
How would you read the photo. Allan C.
