Apparently in 2017 the building was being demolished but for some reason the entire building collapsed, at the time there were lots of theories doing the rounds.

Sheila such a shame as like you I remember seeing loads of fantastic films there, to my mind the place looks terrible at the moment, but there again I think Northumberland Street has completely gone downhill.
