That car appears to have been supplied whit white painted wheel rims not whitewall tyres.
I cannot remember seeing one but I must of.
Dad bought a 1956 Wyvern second hand I think probably in 1958 ish. I started to learn to drive in it. Reg. no. XTN 116 Black.
Still remember the clutch pedal. It was a curved shaft that went down into the floor and column change.
He sold it and bought a SAAB 96 in 1963 from the dealer that was alongside the Tyne Bridge on the Newcastle side. JCU 96 or 996.
Then he bought an Austin 1800 and finally a 1977 Vauxhall Chevette I have had that Number plate on all my cars since then.
