I totally agree.
In 2019 a proven top class Businessman running his own multi million pound business, UTS Engineering in Jarrow decided (because he is a Jarrow man) to stand for the vacant Jarrow MP's position.
Shaun said he would use his MP's Salary for good causes as he is already a wealthy man.
He should have skated it because he's already proved himself.
The big problem was that Shaun wasnt from the usual pile and was beaten by an opposition member Kate Osborne a woman from Kent,300 miles south of Jarrow and who knows nothing about the Town.
We urgently need to forget what party our parents voted for and pick the best candidates to be Councillors & MP's.
Why did we forget that it was a Tory MP who did more for Jarrow and the area than any other MP has ever done for us. His name was Sir John Jarvis.

Read this as an example of the people we voted in.
I'm not normally into Politics but it is obvious changes need to be made. All our sitting Councillors will still get in at the next elections because they do! Nothing to do with ability
Not one of them has contacted me since they sided with 'their Leader of the Council', even though they knew lies were told how Hebburn Hub had a 'plain walls policy by her. They just put their heads down and ignore us knowing they'll still get back in and we'll have forgotten about this matter.
