As I would not have a EV car No £.
I use 2 1.5 batteries each week in hearing aids and found no problems but I keep all batteries live or dead dry.
The problem is usually the charging of them being none compatible battery/ chargers and overcharging.
My e bike requires 2-3 hours to charge from flat which is rare, I just keep my eye on the time or use a timer. However my e bike is top quality not a cheapo.
Looking at the link it’s stupid to mess around with batteries. We all know that from years of experience..
I remember that a battery on Dad’s car split and you could not see the leak for some time, it almost destroyed part of the bulkhead.
Like all things you have to have a bit of nouse but some just don’t.
