Each individual is different I suppose. Eating, drinking and of course medication. Also exercise.
I read the other day that you should drink 2.5 ltrs. Per day but no further info.
However when you get up you should replenish your fluid level ASAP to get your metabolism going. I think a glass of say about 200 mil was mentioned. Water not other stuff.
All I know is what works for me NOW.
All the this started by a comment by a Doctor at the Hospital the other week after my annual blood test, saying you’re a bit Dehydrated and it was just like a passing comment.
I could have almost missed the comment, thank goodness I didn’t .
Maybe just maybe with me it’s because as I’m not and have not been doing the outside jobs that I used to do ( lockdown) so not drinking enough. However being on medication may be a problem but that side effect is not mentioned. I only say that as some medications have been changed because of side effects.
Because of all the years that I did running, diving and cycling etc I sort off know what to and what not to drink or eat etc.
An example is Greens some lettuce give me grief as does some tomato types. Certain other foods disagree with me if I have too much of it. I also find that somethings are not good to eat if I have glass of beer.
That reminds me, during a diving trip up,in Scapa I had a bit of a problem with food and one of the other divers who was a Doctor and anaesthesiologist said you’ve got a problem with your reflux system get Gavascon ? Problem fixed.
A few days later she saved a divers life by calling for a Helicopter quick! To take him to Aberdeen decompression chamber.
By gum I do prattle on, goodnight.
