This £22bn black hole whatever it is. You can read it one way or read it another.

If you had any nouse at all you knew that there were going to be problems money wise caused by the COVID pandemic.

The then Government dished out loads of money in support of workers etc. yes some wasted as we know.

That money spent on the various support and other costs etc would have to be replaced or whatever over time. It only could be replaced by getting the economy going again.

We can never understand the figures that have been quoted to get to this £22bn but there will have been some cooking of the books to give the result so that they can blame the previous Government.

Personally I think that the previous Government didn’t do too bad of a job under the circumstances.
