Electric cars are cheap if you can install your own charger, some local authorities and housing associations are refusing permission to install them its leaves them stuck as you normally order your electric car a few months. People assume they will get permission and when it doesn't happen people are stuck with having to pay commercial rate.
It leaves people having to pay for charging and can cost more than petrol.
