seem to remember the Queen's Flight was also based at Benson, but we could never get near to it.
Also remember getting kicked off the 25 yard rifle range for some infringement or other.
In later life I was a Warrant Officer with 479 then 2286 Squadrons and became the Wing coach for rifle shooting for Warwickshire ATC......so I must have learnt from my Benson experience!
