Brian, I think we have to agree to disagree on this matter, I don’t dispute the fact that Far Right Groups are in attendance, but it is not just the Far Right taking part in these demos, there are ordinary people there, I know that in Sunderland there were many ordinary people there as a few of my friends took part but left when violence erupted, there are people from Far Left Groups as well, then, of course, you have the usual rent a rabble who turn up at every demo regardless of what is is about, they just like to cause trouble.

These demos, that inevitably turn violent, do not help any cause regardless of what the cause is, what good does looting local shops, setting fire to locals cars, injuring police officers that kind of thing it just alienates people.

I do not condone violence, looting etc, but this is just the start of blue torch paper that has been lit and is simmering, people are fed up with matters in this country, it just takes a few fools to get together then the eruptions will take place.

I still feel that Starmer is not taking the right attitude towards this, neither are the Police, you cannot say that one lot of demonstrators will be treated differently to other demonstrators, if you want to clamp down on demonstrations act fairly.
