The no fault evictions have gone up, good landlords like yourself are not always out there. My boys when they left home took a flat together at the end of the 12 months the landlord wanted to put the rent up £200 a month and this was 10 years ago for a 2 bed flat so you can see where I'm coming from. The no fault eviction bill was pondered over for years and still wasn't put through, it needs to be at the earliest opportunity to stop the unscrupulous landlords. You treat your tenants well and I would think they respect you and the property accordingly. I now sit on the National Housing Ombudsman committee so don't know how busy I will be with it but I think it could be very interesting but in an ideal world I would like to think we won't be busy, but I don't think that will be the case.
