Norman, sorry I don’t post much about the Quay. For years the nearest I went was argyle Street. St Aloysius School. I know the names of streets but never where they were in the Quay and even when going to the Gem Cinema, I never knew what street it was in. It was the Quay, the Colliery and the New Town , were all separate parts of Hebburn.
